Such an amazing and blessed time spent in Guatemala spent with my fellow 4 week teammates. I’ll never forget the friendships I’ve made with my team and the other two 2 week teams. God blessed us all in such powerful ways; I hope that we can all take what we learned and continue to press on in our daily lives. Although we live in such diverse areas of North America, I will be praying for each and every person that I met. My heart has been touched so deeply and it’s definitely hard not to miss every moment of the trip. San Pedro La Laguna, thank you so much for the environment you provided for us. Thank you AIM for the amazing opportunity…
It’s painful to say goodbye and return home, but it’s only the next chapter in our lives in which God has called us to be his ambassadors.

A window across the river caught the sun

With the trees always bare,
The raindrops coming down only halfway,
Coming so close and giving up.
